Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about PriceTime Trading, our indicators, tools, and approach to trading education.

General

PriceTime Trading is an online trading education academy designed to help aspiring and developing traders build self-reliance through structured learning. We focus on five core pillars: technical analysis, price action, time cycles, risk and money management, and trading psychology.

Beyond technical skills, we place strong emphasis on trading motivation, discipline, and the psychological resilience required to participate in markets consistently. Our goal is to help you develop the analytical framework to make your own informed trading decisions — not to provide tips, signals, or investment advice.

No. PriceTime Trading is strictly an educational academy. We do not provide personalised investment recommendations, stock tips, or trading signals. All content — including courses, videos, indicators, and tools — is for educational and informational purposes only. Please read our full disclaimer for details.

Our academy is designed for anyone who wants to learn how financial markets work — from complete beginners building their first foundation to intermediate traders looking to add structure and discipline to their approach. Whether you are exploring trading as a skill, building a secondary income path, or refining an existing strategy, our content is built to support that journey.

You must be of legal trading age in your country of residence to use our services. In most jurisdictions this is 18 years of age. It is your responsibility to confirm and comply with the legal requirements of your region before engaging in any trading activity.

Our educational content covers Forex, Commodities, Indices, Futures & Options, and Crypto. The principles we teach — price action, market structure, risk management — are applicable across any liquid financial market. The frameworks are designed to be instrument-agnostic, so you can apply them wherever you trade.

No, and anyone who does should be approached with caution. Trading involves substantial risk, including the possibility of losing your entire capital. What we provide are educational frameworks, tools, and structured learning to help you develop your skills. Your results depend entirely on your own discipline, practice, risk management, and decision-making. Please review our risk disclosure for more information.

Courses & Learning

Structured paid courses are currently in development. In the meantime, our trading indicators are available for subscription — visit our Indicators section for more details. We also have a growing library of free educational content on our YouTube channel, covering topics from stock market basics through to price action, trading psychology, and motivational content for traders.

Subscribe to our updates or follow our social channels to be notified when courses launch.

Courses will be delivered through a combination of pre-recorded video modules, downloadable reference material, and practical exercises. You will be able to learn at your own pace and revisit content as needed within your access period. Certain courses may also include live Q&A sessions or group discussions — details will be provided on each course page upon launch.

No. Our content is designed to start from the very basics and build progressively. If you've never placed a trade or read a chart, you're in the right place. Our Stock Market from Scratch series on YouTube introduces concepts in a structured, logical sequence — from understanding what the stock market is, all the way through to supply and demand, chart reading, and beyond.

We combine structured technical education with a strong emphasis on trading psychology, discipline, and motivation. Many academies teach chart patterns and indicators but overlook the emotional and psychological challenges that cause most traders to fail. Our content addresses both — helping you build not just trading knowledge, but the mindset and habits required to apply it consistently.

Indicators & Tools

Our indicators are custom-built scripts for TradingView, designed to complement price action analysis. They are tools to help you organise information, identify key levels, and support your decision-making process. They are not standalone trading systems and should always be used alongside proper analysis and risk management.

Yes. Our indicators are built for the TradingView platform. You will need a TradingView account to access and apply them to your charts. TradingView offers free and paid plans — however, please note that free plan accounts have limited candle history (approximately 5,000 bars) and a maximum of 3 indicators per chart. For our higher timeframe indicators that require deeper historical data, a TradingView Essential plan or above is recommended for the best experience.

Indicators are available on an annual subscription basis. Once you subscribe, you receive access for a full 12 months. At the end of your subscription period, you may choose to renew for continued access. Pricing details for each indicator are listed on our Indicators page.

Once delivered, indicator subscriptions are non-refundable as they are digital goods — see our refund policy for details.

No. All indicators and tools are provided under a personal, non-transferable license. Sharing, redistributing, copying, reverse-engineering, or reselling any indicator or course material is strictly prohibited and constitutes a violation of our terms and conditions.

In addition to TradingView indicators, we offer free and premium tools including trading calculators, downloadable Excel sheets for tracking trades and managing profit & loss, and journaling templates to help you review and refine your trading process. These tools are designed to support disciplined execution and continuous improvement.

Payments & Refunds

We accept major credit and debit cards. All payments are processed securely through trusted third-party processors such as Stripe and PayPal. Additional payment methods may be available depending on your region. All accepted methods are displayed at checkout.

Yes. We do not store your credit card, debit card, or banking details on our servers at any point. All payment transactions are handled entirely by PCI-compliant third-party processors — meaning your financial information goes directly to Stripe or PayPal, not to us. We only receive confirmation of successful payment and the details needed to provide you access to your subscription.

For courses (when available), you may request a full refund within 7 days of enrollment, provided you have completed less than 20% of the course content. Trading indicators are non-refundable once access is granted, as they are digital goods. Live session cancellations require 48 hours' notice. Full details, including exceptions and the refund request process, are available in our refund policy.

Trading & Risk

This depends entirely on the market you choose, your broker's requirements, and your personal financial situation. We strongly recommend that you never trade with money you cannot afford to lose. Our content covers position sizing and risk management principles that help you determine appropriate capital allocation based on your individual circumstances.

We do not endorse or recommend any specific broker. Your choice of broker should be based on your own research, considering factors such as regulation, fees, available instruments, platform reliability, and customer support in your jurisdiction. We use TradingView for charting and analysis in our educational content.

Yes, depending on the instrument and whether leverage is involved. Leveraged products such as futures, options, and margin-traded forex can result in losses exceeding your initial deposit. This is why risk management is one of our five foundational pillars — understanding and controlling your exposure is essential before taking any trade. Please read our risk disclosure carefully.

Technical analysis is a powerful tool for understanding market structure and identifying opportunities, but no single method guarantees consistent profitability. Success in trading requires a combination of sound analysis, strict risk management, emotional discipline, and continuous learning. We teach technical analysis as one part of a broader framework — not as a standalone solution. Even well-executed technical setups can be overridden by larger forces at play in the market.
